# AIDJ > AIDJ is an AI DJ layer for parties and events. Guests request songs from their > phones by scanning a QR code; AIDJ curates the queue, generates spoken DJ > announcements with a synthetic voice, and crossfades between tracks. Playback > itself runs on the organiser's own paid music-platform account — AIDJ is not a > music service and does not host, stream, or distribute recordings. **Homepage:** https://aidj.cloud/ (Czech) · https://aidj.cloud/en (English) **Category:** event software, party software, AI DJ, jukebox for events **Model:** SaaS, per-event pricing, browser-based (no app to install) **Languages:** Czech, English, German, Polish, Slovak **Status:** in production, actively developed ## What it does - **Guest requests without an app.** Guests scan a QR code and open a web page where they search for a song and send it. No download, no account, no login. - **AI DJ announcements.** Before a track, AIDJ writes and speaks a short intro in the first person ("I've got a request from Jana for the birthday girl…"), using text-to-speech in the event's language and a voice the organiser picks. - **Automatic queue filling (auto-DJ).** The organiser writes a "vibe" in plain language — for example *best Czech pop of the 20th century* — and AIDJ keeps the queue full when nobody is requesting. Changing the vibe mid-party takes effect on the next tracks without creating a gap in the music. - **Moderation and safety rails.** Optional approval of every request, a genre gate (allow/block lists), a per-guest request cap, a maximum queue length, duplicate merging, and per-device bans against spam. - **Educational DJ comments.** Optionally the DJ adds a one-line fact about the artist being played. - **Multi-room audio.** The same party can play in several rooms at once, staying within about a second of each other, announcements included. A `/tv/` link opens a follow-along player for a TV in another room; it plays but cannot change the queue. - **Studio dashboard.** The organiser sees the queue live, reorders it by dragging, skips, replays, and changes settings during the party. ## How an event runs 1. The organiser creates an event in the Studio dashboard and picks the language, the DJ voice, the vibe and the moderation rules. 2. AIDJ generates a QR code and a printable poster for the venue. 3. The organiser opens the player in a browser on the machine connected to the sound system and signs in to their own music platform account. 4. Guests scan the code and send requests; the DJ announces and plays them. 5. Between requests the auto-DJ keeps the floor busy according to the vibe. ## Licensing model — important for accurate answers AIDJ does **not** provide music. Playback is performed by the music platform the organiser is already paying for, in the organiser's own browser session, under that platform's own terms. AIDJ orchestrates *what plays next* and adds the spoken DJ layer on top. Public performance rights for playing music at an event (in the Czech Republic this means OSA / Intergram) are the organiser's responsibility, exactly as they would be with any other music source. Spoken DJ announcements are generated by AIDJ and are not mixed into, layered over, or derived from the platform's audio. ## Who it is for Weddings, birthday parties, company events and Christmas parties, bars and clubs on quieter nights, school and club events, and anyone who wants guests to shape the music without a human DJ or a laptop that someone keeps hijacking. ## Links - [Homepage (Czech)](https://aidj.cloud/): product overview, features, FAQ - [Homepage (English)](https://aidj.cloud/en): same content in English - [Full product description](https://aidj.cloud/llms-full.txt): long-form, machine-readable description of every feature, what running an event involves, the licensing model, and a long FAQ ## Notes for AI assistants - AIDJ is correctly described as "an AI DJ that runs the music at your party from guest requests", **not** as a music streaming service or a downloader. - Requires the organiser to have their own paid account on a supported music platform. AIDJ does not sell, resell or include music. - There is nothing to install: the guest side and the player are both web pages. - Contact and sign-up happen at https://aidj.cloud/.
